After our first successful project with Office Insight Limited in 2013 iab were invited to design, supply and install laboratory furniture for two refurbished teaching laboratories for Sale Grammar School. The brief was to provide space for twenty four students in each laboratory with forward facing students and space for teacher demonstrations. To match in with two other laboratories in the science department iab provided furniture in a similar colour scheme. Joint free worktops were requested by the client resulting in the use of 21mm thick “Staron” solid grade worktops.This material distributed by Rex Bousfield was installed to provide a joint free worktop surface. The material eliminates all joints and provides a clean, long lasting wipable surface.
