Iab was asked by Quinn Glass to design a new show case that was both a centre piece and functional lab. We installed our cantilever system with suspended under bench cabinets, this give the client flexibility to move this around and make it easy to clean without having to move units around. We designed bespoke double sided glass cabinets down the centre of the benches that would provide adequacy storage and give maximum light from the large glass windows. As this was a show piece for the company we had to install the furniture against full height glass frontage. We install panels in keeping with the furniture in the lower section of the full height windows to allow the furniture to be fitted with a clean finish that would be visible from outside.We designed a layout to provide separation between the lab sections and write up section with one side of bench peninsular bench being lowered and perspex screen installed to allow smooth transition between lab and write up section.
