iab worked as both consultants and laboratory fit out contractors on this project. Middlesex university employed iab as consultants to design a full lab and office fit out across 3 floors of their new science and research building. iab worked closely with the university to ensure the design of the furniture, gases and fume cupboards met the exact requirements of the university.
Middlesex university then went on to employ iab, under main contractors Carillion Plc, as the specialist fit out contractor. iab successfully installed a bespoke range of cantilever/plinth mounted furniture to British standards across all 3 floors in a 6 week timescale. Since the completion of the main contract iab has undertaken a number of additional smaller projects for the university to help them adapt to their changing requirements.
