We were approached by a regular client, Derby University, to design and build a tall storage unit that helped they survey department. The department had needs to store a mixture of different things and they weren’t an off the shelf product that would cover they needs. We worked with the end user to design a storage solution that maximised the storage while making it fit within the space they had.
We did this making the unit out 6 compartments of which they were 2 different sizes. Then within each compartment we designed the hanging systems and shelving to fit what was being stored. Also by doing it in 6 parts it meant that the delivery and installation was streamlined. To finish the units off we went for roller shutters instead of doors. As this made opening the storage units easier and quicker. In all the storage solution we designed and installed was a great success.
