After completing Phase 1 in 2010, Cellular Pathology Services returned to iab to carry out the refit of their remaining space. iab converted the area that was being used for storage into a fully working laboratory including flooring, partitions, ceilings, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, mechanical and electrical services and fully cantilevered laboratory benching. As part of the conversion the old up and over roller shutter door was replaced with a new roller security door and patent glazed window, door and sample reception lobby. Close co-operation with the client lead to another successful design and refurbishment project.
