Laboratory Installation
The success of any project is the quality of the laboratory installation work. From start to finish iab pride themselves on carrying out a clean and well-planned operation. Whilst all aspects of a job are co-ordinated at design and pre contract start it is important that all works are co-ordinated daily whilst on site. Drawings need to be updated regularly and kept in the Health and Safety file.
iab employ professionally trained staff and sub-contractors who are familiar and understand the market that we service. All work is designed and installed to meet current British and European Standards. The layout of any laboratory takes account of Building Control Standards. Before implementing any design we consult with an Independent and Approved Building Inspector to ensure that fire exits, fire exit routes, fire alarm, emergency lighting, material standards and HVAC controls meet the appropriate standards. We also assist clients with Planning Applications where required.
We are currently seeking ISO 9001 Accreditation. All installations take account of our legal requirements under CDM 2015 Regulations. The Health and Safety of our clients and workforce is of paramount importance when designing a project. An overall design includes not only health and safety aspects during construction but the Health and Safety of those who follow on using and maintaining a finished laboratory installation. Each project is backed up with all test certificates, as fitted drawings, plant and equipment specifications.
